Our unique process starts with using Agave that is very high in Brix (meaning the sugar levels are much higher given it comes from the highlands of Jalisco). The agave is then slow cooked in masonry ovens and then milled to extract the sugars.
The fermentation is done with champagne yeast, and then double distilled in copper pot stills giving it a sweet and smooth finish.
Finally our Tequila is aged in barrels of Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrels which makes our Tequila absolutely Exquisite, therefore our name Esquisito Tequila.
Our tequila is made using NO ADDITIVES at the highly prestigious NOM 1414 Distillery, and is one of the few distilleries that is certified as additive free by Tequila Matchmaker.
Our Tequila is made in Arandas, Jalisco from agave grown in Los Altos de Jalisco– typically known for its rich minerals, red-colored earth, and perfect climate conditions.
